RED WINE I.G.T. 2021 “PECORAGIOLO” ERCOLANI | 0.75 lt.

DESCRIPTION: young wine with a cherry bouquet. In Renaissance, Del Pecora family used to pair it to their pecorino cheese for its strong fruity flavour.

GRAPES: Sangiovese, black Canaiolo, Colorino, Mammolo, Ciliegiolo 20%.

AGING: 1 year of maturation in cement barrels.

FOOD PAIRING: Tuscan pork cold cuts and medium-aged pecorino cheese, pasta with meat ragout and also vegetable sauce, Tuscan soups like “ribollita” and cannellini bean soup, grilled meat such as chicken and pork. It can be easily matched with a whole meal and surprisingly with fish: taste it with a seafood soup  called “cacciucco”!
